Surrounded on the coast of the Indian Ocean in the East and the South Atlantic in the west, South Africa is the southernmost point of Africa. The climate is not known for extreme climate changes that characterize other parts of Africa.

The country has a rich fauna and flora. There are about 360 species of terrestrial animals, birds, there are approximately 900 types. Furthermore, the country is home to 400 different reptile species. Biodiversity has been composed in part because of parts of its inaccessibility.


Geographically South Africa consists of vidsträkt inland plateau and the narrow coast on 3 sides. they shared lots of steep trails of the mountains which rise between 1300 m -1800 m above sea level.
